The United Methodist Church located in the small mill village of Fingerville, South Carolina, north of Spartanburg is probably the closet thing I have to a "family" church. Although it's been a few generations since any of my family worshipped here regularly, I can trace my ancestry through my mother's line to this small community. Most of the people memorialized in the church's cemetery are related to me. My mother's grandparents were donors of two of the beautiful stained glass windows. It's a wonderful little brick church typical for it's time period.
